The blue trail Vernazza-Monterosso starts from the small port of Vernazza going up Via Roma. We take immediately a narrow alley to the left that climbs along a staircase until it reaches the church of Santa Margherita. The staircase continues to become a dirt path, always uphill. Paying a lot of attention, you continue crossing a small bridge over the Rio Riolo, always climbing along a steep mule track to the panoramic pitch among the olive trees of Costa Mesorano.
The path is now up and down, between the Mediterranean scrub, some rare wetlands, terraced vineyards and lemon groves. Then we start to descend along a staircase flanked by stone walls to the panoramic cliff of Punta Corone, with Monterosso and the hill of San Cristoforo right in front.
Journey time: 1 hour and 30 minutes.

From the church of San Pietro, take Via Serra, leaving Corniglia along a narrow paved road. Cross the paved road and continue to descend through the Rio Groppo, and then go up again through two high dry stone walls to some terraced strips of land planted with olive trees. The paved road continues to climb up to the bridge over the Fosso del Canaletto, and again on becoming a stone mule track, in some places with stairs. Here there is a panoramic point, with Corniglia at the bottom and the valley with the beach of Guvano.
Continue to climb until we reach the village of Prevo (280 meters), and then continue on a slight slope among olive groves up to the staircase that descends to the steep coast of Macereto. Vernazza appears in all its splendor, always continuing to descend towards Via Roma and the town square.

The path joins the two sanctuaries of Vernazza and Corniglia, along a half-coast path that retraces the ancient Via dei Santuari.
From the sanctuary of the Madonna di Reggio, where there is an equipped area, the route climbs along an asphalted stretch, joins the provincial road, which follows for about 200 meters towards Vernazza, and then leaves it taking an uphill path on the left. Among the olive groves we touch the localities Rocche, Casa Fontanella and Case Pollazzo, always uphill until reaching the locality of the Stalle and the wood of Valle di Bona. Now continue among terraced vineyards and after Case Buecia go down towards Teasca and cross the ditch of Re Molino. After Muro Superiore reach the locality of Seroa up to the asphalted road which we walk for a short while crossing path 507 near the sanctuary of San Bernardino.

From the sanctuary of the Madonna di Reggio, the route begins with a short dirt road that leads from the square to the road SP51. Follow it for about 400 meters and take the dirt road on the left at a bend, almost always flat, until reaching the intersection with the asphalted road SP38, near the Passo del Termine.
From here you can reach the sanctuary of Soviore in about 2 km.
