Pozzale - Grotta dei Colombi

The variant is a short joining path that allows you to get to the "Grotta dei Colombi" (cave of the pigeons), without going down to the Pozzale beach and then going up again, shortening the circumnavigation of the Palmaria island.
The most important cave on the island, both for size and for the paleontological material found, it is located about thirty meters from the sea. Here were found arrowheads, sticks, flint scrapers, pearls of white limestone, perforated and polished shells, human remains and animal remains such as the ibex, the chamois, the wolverine and the snowy owl.
