Path 502 begins near Groppo, near the first hairpin bend, in the Piè di Fiesse area:

After a few meters the path forks, on the left the 506V, on the right the 502 continues going up the Zuncone ridge, among the vineyards, crossing the path 532C Groppo - Costa Corniolo.
You enter a chestnut and pine forest, intersecting the Via dei Santuari and always uphill until the High Route of the Cinque Terre.
