Once you reach the Colla di Gritta saddle, the dirt path towards Mesco begins:

The route is very panoramic, with wonderful views of both Monterosso and the Cinque Terre and Levanto and the entire Genoese coast. Practically on the plain, the path proceeds through the pine forest to begin descending to the ruins of the hermitage of Sant'Antonio del Mesco.

Retracing your steps briefly, path 591 continues following the Sentiero Verde Azzurro up to Levanto. Always very panoramic, the route continues partly on the rock at the edge of a pine forest up to the Case Lovara area. Then among the Mediterranean scrub it continues on a slight slope towards Rocca Spaccata, to descend into an holm oak forest and finally along a short stretch of asphalt road up to Levanto.
