Path 532C connects the Costa Corniolo to the village of Groppo, from where it is then possible to descend towards Manarola or continue uphill to Volastra.
From path 532, the slightly flat route branches off to the left and climbs up through a pine forest, Mediterranean scrub and cultivated fields, crossing the path 502 Tornante Groppo-Sella Monte Galera.
For a short stretch they continue downhill in common, to break away onto a slight slope up to the short staircase that leads to the SP51.
