Path 506v begins a couple of curves before Groppo, corresponding to the beginning of the path 502 Tornante Groppo - Sella di Monte Galera:
After a short dirt road you come out onto the provincial road which you follow up to Groppo:
After crossing the village, you proceed between vegetable gardens and cultivated fields, with Volastra clearly visible on the left, going up a staircase until you come back onto the provincial road:
Cross the road and uphill on the right the staircase begins:
The path continues through cultivated fields first and then uncultivated fields until the intersection with the asphalted stretch of path 530, the Via dei Santuari in the Telegrafo-Volastra section and then climbing towards the path 506 Manarola-Monte Marvede.
