GROPPO

The small village of Groppo is located just before Volastra, coming from Riomaggiore. It rises near the stream of the same name, among the typical terraces of the Cinque Terre planted with vines. In fact, here is the headquarters of the social cellar of the Cinque Terre Agricultural Cooperative.

Groppo can be reached by hiking trails such as the 532C Groppo-Costa Corniolo. The carriage road only arrived in the 1970s, around forty people live there.
