Getting to Corniglia by car is not very recommended for two reasons: the very narrow roadway from junction with Vernazza onwards and the small number of parking spaces. In fact, there is only a paid parking lot 500 meters from the village, with about 60 spaces (approximate cost: 2.50 euros per hour). The rest of the parking lots near the village are intended for residents or only for loading and unloading, maximum parking 30 minutes.
In short, even for Corniglia, the best option remains the train.
