WINE TASTING AT THE CINQUE TERRE

The land, the hills, the terraces, the wine were the very first means of subsistence of the Cinque Terre, before fishing and the sea.

From this centuries-old tradition, with the Corniglia wines already mentioned by Boccaccio in the Decameron, hectares of land and km of dry stone walls have come down to us, transforming the landscape in a unique way.

So much has been done and so much more to do for the recovery of the terraces, several wineries are struggling to keep alive the cultivation of vines and heroic wines, that is, born from grapes harvested in unfavorable conditions.
