THE CINQUE TERRE IN MARCH

Here we are, March marks the reopening for most of the Cinque Terre accommodation facilities. Restaurants, bars, various lodgings that were closed during the winter hibernation reopen, to the rhythm of the arrival of spring and of the sunny days that get longer.

The trekking is the best activity of the month of March, along the Alta Via delle Cinque Terre (Cinque Terre high trail) from Portovenere to Levanto or between the five villages.

If Easter falls in March, the traditional procession to the hill of the Tre Croci (Three Crosses) takes place in Manarola, with a luminous representation of the Passion.

At the end of the month, the regular service of the Cinque Terre boats also resumes, one of the main attractions!
