CASE PERSICO
Case Persico is a very small cluster of houses located halfway up the coast between the village of Campiglia and Punta Persico, where the Persico beach is located, made up of large stones.
Originally the houses were the old cellars of the inhabitants of Campiglia, usually with two floors, the lower floor for the wine barrels, the first floor for sleeping and eating.
Next to the staircase that crosses the town, there is a large mulberry tree.
Il Persico and its beach can be reached from Campiglia, along the path 528, which starts from the square of the church of Santa Caterina and descends along the Tramonti staircase, initially with low steps, then more and more demanding, especially in the last section after Persian houses. Journey time is approximately 40 minutes, an hour and a half for the return journey. The length is 1.2 km.
