Monterosso al Mare is the most touristic of the Cinque Terre. As soon as you exit the train station you immediately find yourself on the Fegina seafront. In front of it there are two free beaches, separated by a bathing establishment: Fegina free beach and Stazione free beach. Two other free beaches are located at the end of the seafront towards Levanto: the Gigante beach, just under the statue of the giant and the Portiglione beach, immediately beyond the sailing club.

At the end of the Fegina seafront you can lie down on the numerous large rocks located under the Aurora tower.

In front of the historic center is the sandy beach, next to the ferry dock for trips to the other seaside villages of the Cinque Terre. Next to a boat storage area, there is a small free beach, next to the canal, while at the end of the beach, towards Vernazza, a more comfortable free beach, beyond a large rock, the Tragagià beach.
