Monterosso al Mare is the most tourist of the Cinque Terre. As soon as you get off the train station, you are immediately on the seafront of Fegina. In front there is the small free pebble beach. To the right and to the left are the only beach resorts of the Cinque Terre, with beach sand and small pebbles.
The charm is still the same over the years, even though the beach has lost in size to the erosion of the sea and the expansion of the parking toward the Giant statue.
At the end of the Fegina promenade, is possible to lie down on several large rocks placed under the tower Aurora.
Before the historic center is the sandy beach, near the port where the ferry enter for the trips to the other villages of the Cinque Terre and the Gulf of Poets.
